Catena Media is not as badly affected by the cancellation of major sporting events as 73 per cent of its EBITDA in the first two months of this year came from the casino sector, the company said in its annual report.

That sector, it said, was "performing well" but it warned that the company is holding back on costs and finding alternative revenue streams for its sports segment.
“Provided that the sports events start up after the summer break, our target remains unchanged to reach double-digit profitable growth in 2020,” said CEO Per Hellberg.
The unaudited report and trading update for the first two months of 2020 show EBITDA up 19.9 per cent, amounting to €8.9m, compared with €7.4m. Catena is a Swedish-based company that specialises in generating leads for the igaming industry.
