The acquisition of Zecure Gaming by Betsson has been completed, reports the Sweden-based company.
All of the assets, business activities, operations, front-end and middleware technology and gaming licences attributable to the B2C operations are included in the deal, which was made with Zecure’s parent, Gaming Innovation Group.
All of the relevant regulators have now approved the purchase by Betsson, which said this week that it seeks to "further strengthen our presence in some of our key strategic markets and open further opportunities with new brands in Croatia and Spain."
The company expects the acquisition to increase scale in the business and release synergies, contributing to revenues from the second quarter of this year onwards.
