Gambling revenue in New Jersey, US, in October was up 15.04 per cent to $338m while the igaming and sports betting sectors thrived.

In New York, however, despite the availability of sports betting, revenue fell. This was because gambling venues were opening to 25 per cent capacity and casino revenues fell 24 per cent to $39m, although sports betting was up 17.47 per cent to $2.6m.
The news from New Jersey showed how internet gambling benefited from the lockdown measures, rising 106.6 per cent to $93.4m. Sports betting in the state also rose by a record 64.5 per cent to $803m.
