The extensive list of speakers includes: Patrick Garofalo, state representative for Minnesota, Gary Pretlow, assembly member for New York, and Danielle Boyd, managing general counsel for West Virginia Lottery.

Ewa Bakun (pictured), head of content at Clarion Gaming and the person responsible for producing the ICE Sports Betting USA agenda, believes the response to the event reflects the size of the opportunity as well as the influence of the ICE brand.

She said: “Clarion has a long history of working alongside the gaming community in the United States with a number of brands, notably GiGse. Last year we took the strategic decision to launch Sports Betting USA at which we published the Clarion Accord, a five point plan of action that provided a route map of objectives, actions, commitments and protocols in order to expedite the introduction of regulated and responsible sports betting across the United States."

The event marks the debut of the ICE brand in the US and follows the Supreme Court’s repeal of the Professional and Amateur Sports Protection Act of 1992.
