Colorado-based HeadsUp Entertainment, the gaming operator, has acquired lottery software provider Spinola Gaming.

No details of the transaction have been revealed, but HeadsUp said that it had carried out the purchase by buying all previous third-party shareholdings in Spinola.
The US company now has the rights to operate across several European, Latin American and other regulated markets.
At present, Spinola has contracts in Colombia, Peru, Brazil and is in progress on opening up markets in six African countries, plus plans to roll out a national lottery product in the UAE.
