Golden Matrix Group has applied for a Mexican gaming licence and plans to offer igaming in the country and launch its RKings tournament platform.
CEO Brian Goodman said: “This a logical move for the company, as it opens up compelling opportunities in the Latin America B2C market; and it begins the expansion of the RKings tournament platform to our first region outside of the UK and Ireland.
"We are confident that, in addition to casino games and sports book betting, RKings will be received enthusiastically, generate significant revenues and boost our overall profitability.”
Goodman noted that, as previously announced, the group achieved record quarterly revenues in the first fiscal quarter ended January 31, 2022. As a result of the company’s acquisition of an 80 per cent controlling ownership interest in RKings at the beginning of the current fiscal year, RKings provided significant revenue contributions throughout the quarter.
