Press speculation has led gaming development giant Playtech to issue a statement on the possible disposal of its financials division, TradeTech.
The group will continue to evaluate all options for TradeTech, it said, including a potential sale. The company confirms that it is in discussions with "a number of parties" regarding the sale of the division, but the discussions are at an early stage.
TradeTech, it said, continues to make a valuable contribution to the group and, as the company announced on August 5, TradeTech "had an exception performance in H1 2020 as it benefitted form the increase in market volatility and trading volumes.”
