The French regulator hosted the Minister of Sports and the Olympic and Paralympic Games on Thursday to maintain focus on counteracting sports betting manipulation.

The meeting with Amélie Oudéa-Castéra came ahead of hosts France’s meeting with Italy in the Rugby World Cup on Friday evening.
L’Autorite Nationale des Jeux said that €75m had been staked on the tournament so far in France, but that “no suspicion of manipulation” has been noted.
“More broadly, the ANJ presented the actions implemented within the national platform and those taking place at the international level through the Copenhagen Group which it chairs,” it said of the meeting.
The regulator is aiming to keep on top of sports betting manipulation as it prepares to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games next summer.
