The French gambling regulator has appointed a new director general in Pauline Hot, who replaces the outgoing Rémi Lataste.

Lataste announced his departure on LinkedIn last week after five years in the role.
Hot has been deputy director general of L’Autorité Nationale des Jeux (ANJ) since January.
In the top job, she will assume leadership for the ANJ’s key missions, which include protecting minors, preventing excessive gambling and combatting money laundering.
“Nothing would have been possible without the ANJ’s extraordinary team,” Lataste said.
“Remarkable men and women from diverse backgrounds – dedicated, demanding and creative.
“A tightly knit team that proudly upholds its mission and the values of public service. Pride and gratitude."
