Group revenue and adjusted EBITDA for Flutter grew 27 per cent year-on-year.

2022 group revenue reached £7.7bn, up from the £6bn posted for 2021, while group EBITDA was £918m for 2022 in comparison with £723m in 2021.
Flutter said the acquisitions of tombola and Sisal drove the growth, while expansion into Maryland and Ohio helped the group in the US.
Flutter’s igaming proposition driving market share gains improved to 21 per cent in Q4.
Elsewhere in Q4 2022, the football World Cup helped average monthly players increase, partly offsetting annualisation of safer gambling initiatives and prior year Covid frequency benefit.
Peter Jackson, chief executive of Flutter, noted that the group enjoyed a “record Super Bowl in the US” and has acquired over 1.2m customers in 2023 so far.
What’s more, Maryland and Ohio were the group’s “most successful launches to date.”
Jackson also gave an update on the potential for Flutter to have an additional US listing.
He said: “We have begun an extensive consultation with our shareholders and early feedback has been supportive. We look forward to continued engagement with investors and stakeholders on this matter and we will announce the results of this engagement in due course.”
