The Flutter Entertainment-owned operator will be able to offer live betting markets including longest drive and number of birdies to customers.

The IMG Arena Golf Event Centre, which is headquartered in London and is IMG’s sports data and technology hub, will also give FanDuel a data visualisation package.

Players can track each shot in real time, view hole profiles and see course maps in the FanDuel Sportsbook. Meanwhile, a live leaderboard can be customised to track the hole-by-hole performance of specific players.

Christian Genetski, President of FanDuel Group, said the move will offer players a “robust catalogue of live markets that will give them new ways to engage with the sport on every hole.”

Scott Warfield, vice president of gaming at the PGA Tour, where the integration will begin with the FedEx St. Jude Championship on Thursday, said: “The Golf Event Centre promises to be an exciting addition to the FanDuel platform, and we appreciate the contributions they have made to help us grow engagement in the game of golf."
