Fanatics Betting and Gaming has appointed Chris Bukowski as its new director of customer acquisition.
After over three years at PointsBet, Bukowski has transitioned to work with under the operator's new ownership.
PointsBet’s US operations, now branded a “Fanatics Experience,” were acquired by Fanatics in a US$225m deal last August, with the all state operation handovers completing in April.
Bukowski said on LinkedIn that the circumstances of the transition make the move “even more meaningful for me.”
“I am eager to bring my expertise in gaming and acquisition to contribute to Fanatics' continued success and growth in the industry,” he added.
“I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to Johnny Aitken and Ron Shell for their unwavering support, mentorship and guidance during my time at PointsBet.
“Your leadership has been invaluable, and I am truly grateful for the opportunities I've had to learn and grow under your guidance.
“You both have become part of my extended family and I am forever indebted to you for taking a chance on me. I'll forever bleed PointsBet red and black.”
