In a white paper released by Bullet Business, Phil Fraser, founder of bingo affiliate WhichBingo.co.uk, describes Facebook’s role as being that of a giant affiliate - but the role the social media giant will play in the gambling industry remains unclear.

Bullet Business has announced that Facebook’s Bruce Bale, EMEA gaming manager, and Will Collins, strategic partnerships manager, will present at the Online Bingo Summit in London on May 1-2, 2013.

Keir Hutton Ferris, associate head of research at Bullet Business, said: “Facebook has one billion members and could be a game changer for the industry. It’s natural that operators want to hear from the company, as they could have a significant impact on their future business.”

Now in its eighth year, the 2013 Online Bingo Summit is being sponsored by Experian and PaySafeCard, and has a focus on the social and mobile future of bingo.
