As well as government affairs, John Pauley will have a senior role in Underdog’s partnership management.

He said staying in the daily fantasy sports sector after a year and a half with PrizePicks would allow him to continue working with the Coalition for Fantasy Sports, which is lobbying regulators for the expansion of DFS across the US.

“The US gaming industry is rapidly evolving and has a long list of policy initiatives that must be addressed,” Pauley wrote on LinkedIn.

“Paving the way for increasing competition, growth and responsible gaming in the DFS sector is more important than ever. Let’s get to work!”

Meanwhile, PrizePicks has struck a partnership with the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

PrizePicks will receive in-arena signage in the stadium for sporting events as well as concerts and music and comedy performances.

The operator will also have “rotating, full-day exposure” in Atlanta’s Sports and Entertainment District, which houses the Mercedes-Benz Stadium and the Georgia World Congress Center alongside the State Farm Stadium.

“We are excited to team up with State Farm Arena, an integral destination elevating the entertainment scene in Atlanta," said Adam Wexler, CEO of PrizePicks.

"State Farm Arena shares our ethos in innovating the entertainment experience and this partnership facilitates a way for us to engage more people in the community."
