Esports Entertainment Group has appointed Alex Igelman as its new CEO.

Igelman, who has over 30 years’ experience in the gaming industry, replaces Grant Johnson, who left in December.
Gaming lawyer Igelman co-founded FairP2P and Esports Capital Corp and his appointment follows that of EEG's new chair, Jan Jones Blackhurst, in December.
Igelman said “there is a substantial and growing addressable domestic esports betting market for the company to take a leadership position in”, adding “transformative initiatives” can help the company make “significant strides.”
Blackhurst added: “He [Igelman] brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and fresh perspective as we move the company forward.”
