Online gambling company Esports Entertainment has completed its purchase of assets of FLIP Sports, including staff and all intellectual property.

“It is a major step forward for esports, placing us in a position where we own and control our tech stack,” said Grant Johnson, CEO. “This transaction means we gain a world-class development team with a specific expertise in gambling, with award-winning customised software and also they have existing revenues which adds to our financials.”
FLIP Sports is a mobile game studio specialising in live sports. It offers a multi-platform second-screen experience within a gaming environment for sports wagering players.
Esports Entertainment Group’s revenues are set to grow 15.7 per cent year-on-year to $1.1bn this year, according to news service Newzoo.
