The Dutch gambling authority, the KSA, has announced the technical specifications and connection procedure for the central register that will be employed to monitor software on the upcoming online gambling regulations in the Netherlands.

The Central Register for the Exclusion of Games of Chance (CRUKS) will allow providers to prepare for the introduction of online gambling.

A digital counter will be opened from tomorrow to answer questions about the connection of gambling providers to CRUKS. A video conferencing facility is also offered by the KSA to help explain how the system will work.

Initially the explanation is for the providers of land-based games of chance and future providers of online games will be informed at a later date, but they now have access to the technical specifications that they will need to adhere to.

A test environment will be available from July 13 so that land-based operators can try out their connection to CRUKS.
