DraftKings has reversed coursed on plans to implement a gaming tax surcharge in select US states.
The plans drew significant criticism and sportsbooks FanDuel, ESPN BET and BetRivers all declined to implement similar charges.
A post on DraftKings’ X account put out yesterday read “We always listen to our customers and after hearing their feedback we have decided not to move forward with the gaming tax surcharge. We are always committed to delivering the best value In the industry to our loyal customers.”
