Sports betting operator DraftKings has seen its third quarter revenues grow by 60 per cent, it was reported at the weekend.

The company said that it had successfully completed the sports betting technology migration ahead of schedule as it revealed that the quarter to September 30 had revenues of $213m compared with $133m last year.

CEO Jason Robins said that the transfer to new verticals had led to the addition of innovative features to its mobile sports betting app. His CFO, Jason Park, added: “Fundamental user acquisition, retention and engagement trends in the third quarter were outstanding across all of our online gaming products.” 

Monthly unique payers increased by 31 per cent and average revenue per monthly unique payer grew by 38 per cent.

DraftKings is expanding its mobile sports betting and igaming footprint across North America. Following successful launches in Wyoming, Arizona and Connecticut, the company is now live with mobile sports betting in 15 states or 29 per cent of the US population.
