888 Holdings and Donald Trump are in talks to exploit the looming legalisation in the US, it has been reported.

According to The Times, the founder of Trump Entertainment Resorts has been talking to 888, as well as other international operators, about offering online poker once the US market is regulated.

In October 2011, Trump and New York hedge fund manager Marc Lasry announced plans to form an online gaming company - through Lasry’s Avenue Capital Group and Trump Entertainment Resorts, of which Trump has a 10 per cent stake  - once gambling is legalised in the US.
