The Swedish gambling regulator has removed four companies from the market which it says were providing unlicensed offerings.

Gamevio and Bigskin Trading allow players to win or lose “skins,” collectibles in many games that can be redeemed for money outside of the title.

“Websites that offer skin games cannot get a Swedish gaming license and can often lack age control,” the regulator Spelinspektionen said.

Santeda International, which is responsible for the website samiland.co, was also targeted by the regulator in its latest enforcement.

In the case of Gamevio, which operates the csgofast.com website, Spelinspektionen noted the company has information in Swedish and a Swedish FAQ.

What’s more, the company markets itself to Swedish consumers through affiliates, the regulator said.

Spelinspektionen said Gamevio has provided “no response” to the body since the investigatory work was carried out.
