Almost 300 people have enrolled in Colorado’s official self-exclusion program at its one-year anniversary.

Figures from the Colorado Division of Gaming, which regulates gaming in the US state, say 288 people are registered.

“We are encouraged by the positive response to the self-exclusion program in its first year,” said Division of Gaming director Chris Schroder.

“The fact that 288 Coloradans have signed up demonstrates the importance of offering resources for those who seek to manage their gaming habits.”

In addition to the self-exclusion program, the Colorado Division of Gaming offers public education campaigns and responsible gaming grants.
