Mobile gaming and in-running betting solutions provider Cantor Gaming has appointed Jeff Burge as chief financial officer and chief operating officer, with immediate effect.

Burge replaces Coreen Sawdon who has resigned from her role to pursue other interests. He will be responsible for strategic management of accounting and finance operations at Cantor Gaming, reporting to president and CEO Lee Amaitis.

Burge joins the company from The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, where he served as chief financial officer since 2009. Beginning his career at Harrah's Entertainment, his other previous positions include vice president of finance at Las Vegas Sands' Palazzo and Venetian from 2007 to 2009, as well as president of finance at Ameristar Casino-St. Charles.

"I look forward to playing a prominent role in the management and success of Cantor Gaming's business operations," said Burge.
