Fredrik Burvall, who has been acting CEO of Scandinavian operator Cherry since December, has been confirmed as the new permanent CEO and president of the group with immediate effect.
Rolf Åkerlind, chairman of the Cherry board, said: “Fredrik has showed a strong drive and passion for the company during his years as CFO and vice president.
“Furthermore, he has a vast knowledge of the gaming industry. Cherry made some management changes in December 2014 and the combination of strengthening our Malta organisation and Fredrik’s experience will result in a group management that will help Cherry to reach profitability with continued strong growth.”
