Brazilian sports betting and casino operator Aposta Ganha has appointed Hugo Baungartner as its VP for Global Markets.
He will take the lead on the company’s international expansion, with Aposta Ganha set to reveal several new territories for development in early July.
In May, the operator agreed to become the new lead sponsor of Brazilian football club Figueirense following similar deals with Corinthians and Flamengo.
Baungartner said he is looking to help Aposta Ganha “navigate new territories and solidify Aposta Ganha’s position as a leading sports betting operator in Brazil and beyond."
Aposta Ganha’s head of product, Elvis Lourenço, noted Baungartner’s “extensive experience and deep understanding of international markets, particularly within LatAm.”
