Dr Joe Borg, the chief regulatory officer of Malta’s Lotteries and Gaming Authority and a Trustee of the International Association of Gaming Regulators (IAGR), has resigned from the Maltese authority to join a major licensing procedure specialist.


Borg, who joined the Maltese authority in 2007, was previously with Vodafone Malta.
His new role is senior advisor to WH Partners, a successor to WH Law, which provides legal advice on a number of sectors, but specialising in gaming. The group handles tax advice, licensing issues, compliance and advice on EU cross-border trade.
