Online bookmaker Betway has agreed a deal to sponsor German esports team Berlin International Gaming.
The two-year agreement will see Betway serve as the main sponsor for BIG’s esports teams and grants the operator access to a wide portfolio of sponsorship rights, including front of jersey and sleeve branding; player access for the creation of exclusive content; giveaways and social media access.
Among the ranks of their CS:GO team is Owen “smooya” Butterfield, currently the highest-rated British CS:GO player in the world, Johannes “tabseN” Wodarz, Germany's top-ranked player, and the Turkish star player İsmail Can "Xantares" Dörtkardeş.
BIG’s first competitive action as an official partner of Betway will be on January 26, at Eleague in Atlanta, Georgia.
