The event, taking place once again at Stamford Bridge stadium in west London, was the biggest to date, with conference content split across three rooms on the third floor and a bustling exhibition area on the main concourse below.

Broad consensus was that the event had been a success, with organiser SBC reporting total delegate numbers across the two days of approaching 1,000.

Exhibitors including Beehive, Colossus Bets, Chroma, Delasport, HiPay and VSoftco all mentioned the smooth running of the event with positive comments relating to the quality of the food and drink, the floor layout and the event wi-fi.

The networking party held on Wednesday night at Kensington Roof Gardens was also widely praised for its free drinks and laid back atmosphere.

"It's been a really good event for us," said VSoftco's Simon Westbury, adding that the virtual penalty shootout challenge on the company's stand had seen a lot of visitors.

Mollie Pugh, of sports betting and fantasy sports software specialist Chroma, added: "As a first-time exhibitor, we didn't really know what to expect but it has been a great few days."
