Co-founders Jai Maw and Jeremy Jakary, with the financial backing of GeoComply, have reacquired Betting Hero for US$37m.
Maw and Jakary jointly own 60 per cent of Betting Hero while GeoComply owns the remaining 40 per cent.
“I’m incredibly proud of the team and the work we’ve done, and I’m more excited than ever for what’s next. A huge thank you to GeoComply and everyone who has been part of this journey," Maw posted on LinkedIn.
Founded in 2018, Betting Hero delivered its 500,000th bettor in March.
“It’s amazing to think about how far we've come — from our vision of helping people safely enjoy the digital experiences offered by our customers to activating over 500,000 players across the country,” Maw continued.
“With GeoComply as a strategic partner, we have the resources and expertise to take Betting Hero to new heights.”
