BetMakers Technology Group has entered a binding heads of agreement to acquire the Las Vegas Dissemination Company (LVDC), the only approved provider of pari-mutuel wagering services for racing in Nevada, US.
LVDC holds three key licences to act as disseminator, live broadcast disseminator, and pari-mutuel systems operator in the state.
Under the terms of the proposed acquisition, BetMakers would take control of 100 per cent of the company’s assets, which, it stated, would provide “a launchpad for next-generation racing and wagering experiences in one of the world’s most iconic gaming destinations.”
“This acquisition would not only give us access to the dynamic Nevada gaming market but also creates a strong platform to showcase innovation in horse racing technology and retail wagering experiences,” said BetMakers’ CEO, Jake Henson.
