BetConstruct has concluded an international cooperation agreement with PMU, the historical French horse racing betting provider.

The deal provides PMU with the means to stream the races it organises to different regions, with Armenia being the first to benefit, expected next spring.

“PMU is very happy with this partnership with BetConstruct, which will give Armenian players the opportunity to bet on the French horse racing within the same network as French players. This was a big first step, and hopefully this agreement will allow BetConstruct worldwide partners to enjoy French races and PMU’s product as well as it will allow our organisation to extend our distribution coverage with BetConstruct,” said Philippe Thebault, PMU area manager.

Horse racing in France attracts over 2.5 million viewers annually and turns over approximately €10bn. BetConstruct’s partnership is likely to strengthen and promote the betting market for French gallop and trotting races.

“We’re pleased to be collaborating with PMU and to help broadcast its world-famous French horse racing. The cooperation offers our partner and us the prospect of increased trade and traffic. Going forward, we look forward to strengthening our ties and enjoying the fruits of our collaboration,” said David Ozararat, BetConstruct regional director.
