Gaming site Bet24 has announced entry into another 14 countries for real-money poker on the iPhone.

Mobile Mobile

Bet24 was the first poker operator on the Ongame network to launch real-money poker games in France, Austria and the UK in December 2011. "Mobile has been a true success story for us with thousands of downloads since launch. I have studied the development carefully since launch and I am proud to say that mobile poker generates growth without cannibalising on current poker revenues from PC and Mac. We are really glad that the customers like our product and use it on a daily basis," said Lars Kollind, Bet24 poker manager.

The Ongame powered iPhone application is currently available in Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK, meaning that 55 per cent of the EU population has access to at least one iOs compatible real-money poker client. Bet24 plans to expand in more countries in the near future.

Even though Android devices outsell iOs devices in most European countries, the money spent on mobile devices is heavily tilted towards iPhone users. iOs are financially speaking still a more important platform than Android among Ongame's operators.
