German betting operator Bet-at-home.com has recorded gross betting and gaming revenue and EBITDA for Q1 2019 significantly above the previous year's level.

Gross betting and gaming revenue was €37.2m in the first quarter of 2019, 12.1 per cent higher than in the comparable period of 2018 (€33.2m), while betting and gaming volume totalled €827.3m (€733.9m).
Betting fees and gambling levies increased slightly to €5.3m (€5.1m) and VAT on electronic services led to a negative impact on earnings of €0.9m (€1.9m).
Net betting and gaming revenue increased by 18.8 per cent to €31.1m (€26.2 million).
Looking ahead at the rest of the financial year, the company stated: “From the current perspective, and assuming an unchanging regulatory and tax law environment, the management board expects a gross betting and gaming revenue between €130m and €143m in the fiscal year 2019. The decline in gross betting and gaming revenue compared to the financial year 2018 is attributable to legal uncertainties in Switzerland.
“Furthermore, the management board expects EBITDA to amount between €29m and €33m in the fiscal year 2019.”
