German-based Bet-at-Home.com AG, the online gaming and online sports betting company, has reported pre-tax earnings are up 78.9 per cent to €16.6m in the first half of 2015.

A further increase in gross revenues and improvements in efficiency led to the improvement despite a fresh tax burden which came in this year.

Gross betting and gaming revenue rose 6.9 per cent to €56.7m. The earnings for the half-year were €7.2m over the same period of last year.

The company has increased its forecast for the whole of 2015 on the basis of the strong start and aims for EBITDA of €25m for the year. The company has 4.1m registered customers worldwide and is listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
