Spanish automated bingo game producer Zitro last Friday received the Gold Medal for Merit at Work, awarded by the European Association of Economics and Competitiveness.

The award is designed to promote, develop and recognise the mechanisms of the companies that promote good business development within Europe.

Manuela Jimenez, vice president of Zitro, received the award in conjunction with the company’s product director Marta Cuesta and assistant to the president, Nuria Alfas (pictured).

Since it was formed 10 years ago, Zitro has been expanding its international presence and is now in 14 countries. It has launched its own video slots brand, Bryke, and has its own online gambling subsidiary, Zitro Interactive.
