Major Dutch arcade operating company JVH Gaming and Entertainment Group has been granted an online casino licence by the KSA, the Netherlands Gaming Authority.

It means that JVH, using Jacks.nl, will be able to go live with online gambling under the new Dutch regulations.

Said JVH CEO Eric Olders: “We can finally get started. We have been pursuing this ambition for more than 10 years. Dutch online gambling legislation has been under way for a long time, but now it has arrived.

“Now the industry can finally start. I want to pay tribute to my colleagues at JVH who made this possible.”

The licence is granted to JOI Gaming, a subsidiary of JVH. The company runs 85 arcades across the Netherlands and is the largest operator of that type of venue in the country. Most of them run under the Jack’s Casino brand.

JVH is based at Tilburg and has been in the arcades business since 1958 when entrepreneur Jac van Ham founded the company.

Jacks.nl will operate a wide range of online games. Last year it partnered with Kambi for a sportsbook and with Evolution for the live casino. It is also collaborating with Oryx for the player platform.
