Amazon Prime’s hit American Gods has been transformed into an online slot game by Skyrocket Entertainment after acquiring the gambling rights to the movie.
The fantasy drama TV series will now be transplanted onto gaming content and products through the company’s Skyrocket Studios division.
The film is based on Neil Gaiman’s 2001 novel and was adapted for premium cable network Starz, going on to be nominated for an Emmy Award.
Working in collaboration with Bang Bang Games (Deal Or No Deal, Dumb and Dumber, etc.) Skyrocket will transform American Gods into a slot full of features including four base game bonuses.
Production of the new game has started and is due to be delivered towards the end of this year.
