888poker is to become a primary sponsor of the World Series of Poker following an agreement between 888 Holdings plc and Caesars Interactive Entertainment.

The deal sees 888poker sponsor the upcoming 2013 WSOP Asia Pacific and WSOP Europe TV shows and makes 888poker the live streaming coverage provider for every key event in both tournament series.
As part of the deal, 888poker will be offering the opportunity for players to win seats to the WSOP events alongside Team 888poker ambassadors including Australian cricket legend Shane Warne.
Itai Pazner, senior vice president, said 888 is looking forward to the new partnership: “Sponsoring the largest live tournament series, WSOP, allows our online poker brand, 888poker, leading exposure in the poker community and offers great opportunities for our players."
Ty Stewart, senior vice president and executive director, WSOP, added: "Broadcasting is the not-so-secret sauce of the World Series of Poker.
“We're thrilled to expand the relationship with 888 to help showcase our new Triple Crown to viewers around the world."
