Much of London marvelled at a 50ft yellow rubber duck as it sailed down the River Thames this week – and it was all part of online bingo site jackpotjoy.com’s campaign to inspire people to “do something daft.”

From Canary Wharf to Tower Bridge, Londoners could barely believe their eyes as the giant duck quacked its way along the river, pausing only for Tower Bridge to be raised to allow the 15m bird through.
Launched by actress Barbara Windsor, the stunt was publicising the bingo site and its JackpotJoy FUNdation, which is aimed at inspiring people to do something daft for fun, with the best suggestions winning Joy Points to spend at the site.
The duck was unavailable for comment.
