Mountainview Thoroughbred Racing Association, the operator of Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course, has been sanctioned $45,000 for allowing five individuals who were enrolled into the regulator’s self-exclusion programme to wager through its online Barstool Sportsbook.

Meanwhile, Downs Racing, which operates Mohegan Pennsylvania Casino – as well as its igaming partner Unibet – have been fined $7,500.

Their fine relates to the failure to suspend an igaming account that had requested a short-term suspension of online gambling activities after making use of problem gambling tools.

The PGCB says the operator allowed the individual’s 90-day cooling-off period to go “unacknowledged” and subsequently continued offering substantial gaming activity for 21 more days.

Evolution is the second operator to have been fined $7,500, this time after an unlicensed employee dealt blackjack games in its live dealer igaming studio.
