CREATING a compelling gaming experience means little if the platform doesn’t generate revenue, and therefore the back-end systems have become as critical for i-gaming operators as the game-play itself.

However, as you’d imagine, this is not always an easy task. For starters, gaming is an international and highly regulated industry. Online gaming payments are also extremely complex, as are the myriad payment requirements involved, from language and currencies, to cross-border regulations and fraud risks. Naturally operators will do all they can to simplify this environment, and industry-wide payment innovation might prove to be the chief means of doing so in 2016 and beyond.
