On Tuesday, July 31, 2018, Microgaming will celebrate the first anniversary of moving into its new headquarters on the Isle of Man. Sixty Two is a purpose-built, five-storey building situated in the heart of Douglas. It has a BREEAM rating of “excellent” and features a fully equipped gym, treatment room, social area, canteen, coffee shop, library, roof garden and 16 meeting rooms. It may be our new home on the Isle of Man, but the Isle of Man has been our home since 2001 – and we wouldn’t change that for the world.

Back in 2001, the Isle of Man had joined the world’s early adopters of legislation aimed at supporting and regulating online gaming. The local e-gaming sector has been growing ever since, and today more than 1,000 people in the industry are employed on the island. Government support, which extends to a dedicated team within the Department for Enterprise, makes the Isle of Man a favourable place for companies like Microgaming.

But that only scratches the surface of what makes the Isle of Man such a fantastic home for us. With low rates of income tax, even lower rates of crime, an abundance of outstanding natural beauty and an excellent education system, the Isle of Man is the perfect place to raise a family.
