Catena Media is to acquire a Japanese affiliate and its related websites and assets in a US$5.5m deal.
The acquired assets include some of the highest ranked casino websites in Japan.
Of the total purchase price, $4m is to be paid upon transferring of the assets, scheduled for this month, with the remaining $1.5m to be paid six months after completion of the transaction.
“This is a good example of an acquisition in line with our global growth strategy, and we will be well positioned for future expansion in Asia”, said Robert Andersson, CEO of Catena Media.
