The first AffiliateFEST, aimed at providing expert advice to affiliates, has taken place at London’s Hippodrome casino.

AffiliateFEST

Organised by Optimal Payments, over 45 casino and sportsbook affiliates took part in the event which was aimed at finding undiscovered talent within the industry.

Among the visitors was Nick Garner, head of new entertainment brand Oshi!, who gave a speech on the importance of SEO, and Hilary Stewart-Jones of DLA Piper, who outlined the legal challenges facing affiliates in the current and future climate.

Additional expertise was provided by Fintan Costello from Revenue Engineers, Evan Hoff from venture capital firm Velo Partners, Phil Fraser, founder of WhichBingo.com, Paul Reilly of MediaSkunkWorks and James Gregory, founder of Fast Rank.

Lee-Ann Johnstone, director of affiliates at Optimal Payments, said: “AffiliateFEST was a huge success not only for us, but for our sponsors (Go Wild, Hippodrome and Buffalo Partners to name a few) as well as a collaboration of media partners who support the same cause. The aim: to come together, to facilitate growth and change in the i-gaming affiliate industry.

“The event was created to provide support to affiliates looking to expand their business, access knowledge and support to get to the next level. Collaborating together, we have created a platform that will continue to promote growth in this channel.”

AffiliateFEST will be held again in 2016.
