One of North America’s biggest sports betting affiliates, Catena Media, has launched online sports betting affiliation in Vermont.
Catena Media has agreements with both DraftKings and Fanduel, two operators which were selected by Vermont’s Department of Liquor and Lottery to go live yesterday.
The small, north-eastern state is the last of the New England states to allow online sports betting and is the first new North American market to open in 2024.
"Initial interest from both the industry and sports bettors in Vermont is strong. Vermonters have enjoyed online daily fantasy sports products and horse-race wagering so are no strangers to the online market,” said Ryan Harper, Catena Media's vice president for North America.
