Playtech has signed a new licensing agreement with Spanish television network Mediaset Espana.
According to the agreement, Playtech will provide its entire suite of products, which includes casino, poker, mobile, bingo, live dealer games and TV, all operating under a local gaming licence. Given Mediaset España´s expertise in broadcasting, it plans to place a special focus on Playtech’s TV product, capitalising on the mass-market appeal of this platform.
This is a particularly strategic step for both parties, as Mediaset Espana is listed among Spain’s 35 strongest companies on the main Spanish stock exchange IBEX 35 with a €1.780m market capitalisation to date.
By signing this agreement, Playtech has positioned itself as a key partner for Mediaset Espana, launching a new business area designed to complement its entertainment offer.
