After parent group Cherry reported 156 per cent growth for its games development business, Yggdrasil Gaming, the studio has issued its own operational update for the three months to March 31.

Yggdrasil

In the period, Yggdrasil launched the iSENSE 2.0 HMTL5 framework and introduced its first progressive jackpot, Joker Millions, which has been taken up by four operators, including Betsson and Cherry.

Yggdrasil also launched its Super Free Spins concept with Vera&John, and signed deals with GVC and a Asian social and mobile in-app purchase operator

Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO of Yggdrasil, said: “I’m very pleased with the start we’ve made to 2015 following a breakthrough year in 2014. We’ve recently signed deals with operator heavyweights like Betsson and GVC and that is the best possible testimonial for our range of products and services.

“We now have 22 operators signed up and 16 of those were live by March – that is compared with just two operators signed in December 2013.”

He added: “It’s been a tremendous beginning to 2015 and we’re all focused on delivering further positive results and growth during the remainder of the year.”
