Plans for a 1,266m zipline on Mount Wellington in Tasmania, Australia, have been unveiled for public comment.

The zipline has been designed by Ziprush Canada, who claims that it will be the fastest and highest in the Asia-Pacific region.
Up to 100 guests a day will reach speeds of up to 100kph on the zipline if it is approved, reaching heights of 50m above the ground.
Construction for the attraction is priced at AU$2m (US$1.256m) and will be located between The Springs and Strickland Falls in South Hobart if approved.
