Sega has installed Triotech’s XD Theatre 6D motion ride at Butlins’ Minehead holiday park in the UK.
The attraction features special FX technology, stereoscopic imaging, realistic motion with up to 2G of acceleration and seats that create 400 movements per second.
“It’s important,” said Justin Burke of Sega, “to offer visitors something different.”
The XD Theatre does just that, while providing a “unique” attraction to draw people in, he said.
“The motion platforms are so versatile and there is no need for any major construction. Thus making it perfect for small and large operators to take advantage of this product’s power to attract visitors.”
