MENALAC, the trade association for the amusement industry in the Middle East and North Africa has announced its newly-elected board members following its AGM.

Held on June 19, the meeting saw Alwalid Aal Baltan named president of MENALAC, Silivio Liedtke was named vice president and Janarandana Dattakumar was named treasurer.
The rest of the board includes Fahad Al Obailan, Kareem Fayed, Peter Stubbs, Sheikha Monira Al Sabah, Shifa Yusuffali, Mohammed Alhinai, Ahmed Yusuf, Ahmad Kamel, Antoine Zgheib, Hussain Abdul Fatah Marafi, Prakash Vivekanand, Hassan Ahmed, Davide Camaiora and Renee Welsh.
Liedtke said: “Our newly elected board is fully aligned with MENALAC’s enduring vision - to unite operators, manufacturers, suppliers, consultants, tourism authorities and regulators on a common platform that encourages collaboration and promotes high operational standards across the region.
“At the heart of our mission is a commitment to building a harmonised, safe, and forward-thinking leisure and entertainment landscape - one that evolves with the growing expectations of both consumers and businesses.”
